QH Fundamentally Sound Camp

This camp is the ultimate camp for young start up players grades 1-3. This camp is for the motivated and serious player who will be challenged to develop fundamental skills in the ball-handling, pivoting, stopping, passing and shooting.
FS is a step beyond the basics and will require determination, discipline and intensity in a positive and fun environment.

• Emphasis
  Ball-handling: stationary and speed dribble ball control with both strong and weak hand.
• Skill Level
  Beginners or motivated players who want a higher level of training then the recreational level.
• Description
  This camp is the ultimate camp for young start up players grades 1-3. This camp is for the motivated and serious player who will be challenged to develop fundamental skills in ball-handling, pivoting, stopping, passing and shooting. Excellence Camp

This camp is designed for players grades 1-3 who want to develop a sound and fundamental base in shooting technique and excellence. Developing bad habits in shooting technique are very hard to break. To provide a camp such as Shooting Excellence will produce the ultimate foundation for proper shooting formation both in set up and delivery.
This is a must for Young Players

• Emphasis
  Proper shooting technique, set up, delivery and follow through are established through intense drill repetition. This camp is designed to really establish proper shooting form. Repetition will be emphasized with the goal to establish a routine of efficiency and execution.
• Skill Level
  Players with an average understanding and basic shooting base as well as the motivated players who want a higher level of training and challenge along with more advanced training.
• Description
  The Shooting Excellence Camp will be instructed by stand-out High school and College player Jessica Mendezona. Jessica will present unique fundamentals and drills that helped her become a pure and versatile shooter. Campers will learn quick set up, quick release and foot preparation, which will be taught through intense drilling stations. Shooting is an art and mastering creative techniques designed for immediate success will be the emphasis of this camp. Consistency, composure and confidence will be the goal of repetition shooting, consistent form and proper footwork. Hundreds of shots individually will be taken each day, equipping each camper with the supreme advantages of quick release shooting. The camp will focus on equipping athletes to become a serious threat from the outside, which will open up the ability to be a multi-dimensional offensive threat.
• Players Age
  Grades 1st-5th – Boys & Girls Note 4th-6th graders need to be prepared for this camp and are encouraged to have the basics fundamentals of shooting down. Exceptions may be granted to first attend our shooting excellence camp as well as our shooting stars camp.

Heat Ball-Handling Camp

The basis and foundation of the entire Quick Handle™ program is found in our intense and challenging Heat Camps. Quick Handle™ will instruct in the areas of advanced ball handling drills and moves off the dribble.
These camps are full day camps formatted to increase skill development, discipline and mental toughness. The full day sessions will test stamina and increase physical condition, quickness, and confidence in a tough-as-nails camp. Unique drills and 1-on-1 competitions along with 3-on-3 team play will test the skill level and determination of each athlete.

• Emphasis

  Players that possess a fairly basic ability to handle the ball up to the motivated players with more advanced ball-handling skills that desire a higher level of skill training in ball-handling, moves off the dribble, footwork, mental training and competition.

Quick Trigger Camp

This camp will emphasize the unique techniques taught in the Quick Trigger Shooting DVD. Campers will learn quick set up, quick release and foot preparation, which will be taught through intense drilling stations. Combining moves off the dribble into quick trigger shooting, both off the pass and off the dribble, will be stressed. Hundreds of shots individually will be taken each day, equipping each camper with the supreme advantages of quick trigger shooting.
The camp will focus on equipping athletes to become a serious threat from the outside, which will open up the ability to be a multidimensional offensive threat.

• Emphasis
  Shooting intangibles; footwork: spring hop, 1-2 step, swivel pivot & crab hop etc. are taught. Quick release techniques: face chase, automatic set point, rapid release are taught. The camp is designed t establish a foundation of shooting preparation, sound technique and the ability to get your shot off quickly and efficiently creating space both off the dribble and in a catch & shoot position. Concentration, consistency and confidence are the major goals of this camp.
• Skill Level
  Players with an average understanding and basic shooting base as well as the motivated players who want a higher level of training and challenge along with more advanced training.
• Description

Quick First Step (QFS) Camp

This camp is geared to empower campers in developing; a quick first step, explosiveness, quick change of direction and short speed angle sprinting.
Tough and challenging drills in short interval training cycles, both with and without the basketball, are designed to maximize efficiency and progress and progress.

• Emphasis
  Developing basketball speed, quickness, agility and sound footwork. Intense drills will be taught both with and without the basketball.
• Skill Level
  Players with a basic foundation of basketball skills and conditioning as well as the advanced and motivated players who want to be challenged in terms of intensity and conditioning as well as developing and increasing explosiveness and a quick first step off the dribble.
• Description

Heat Ball-Handling Camp

• This full day camp is the true test for the player that wants the ultimate challenge. Virtually unstoppable QH drills and moves will be taught at a college level format by Coach Mendo. The Virtually Heat Ball-Handling camp is designed to challenge the competitive juices, mental fortitude and physical toughness of High School athletes. These camps are designed for dedicated players who aspire to take their game to another level.  The virtually unstoppable MVP style will demand a tenacious heart as each athlete will participate in fierce competition. High-level teaching and rigorous drill repetition will be emphasized at this camp. Those campers who simply want to be the best and flat out get after it, are encouraged to attend.
  Generally these camps are full day & combined with Elite players as well.  All players are designated into proper divisions

  Specific Ball-handling and moves off the dribble targeted for a certain age group in a shorter duration of time. All the major components of the Heat Camp are taught in this camp.
• Skill Level
  Players that possess a fairly basic ability to handle the ball up to the motivated players with more advanced ball-handling skills that desire a higher level of skill training in ball-handling, moves off the dribble, footwork, mental training and competition.

• MVP Heat Ball-Handling Camp MVP Ball-Handling Camps will challenge each camper with intense single handed ball control drills and electrifying moves off the dribble. This session will challenge campers to take their game to another level by creating the foundation to a lightning quick, unstoppable offensive arsenal. Learn how to drive to the basket with explosive quickness, power and finesse. Sound techniques to create space and get your shot off quickly, yet efficiently, will be stressed.
  MVP Ball-Handling Camps are designed to develop virtually unstoppable handles and is a true test for the player that wants the ultimate challenge. Virtually unstoppable QH drills and moves will be taught at a college level format. Post/Guard Camp

Grades 4th-12th. For the serious player committed to expanding their post up game as well as their guard abilities. The focus of the camp is to teach a variety of unique post and guard skills. Further emphasis will be placed on teaching innovative techniques that are designed to expand the repertoire and knowledge each camper can utilize to give them a distinct advantage over their competition.

• Emphasis
  Develop unique and advance skills and techniques specific to both the guard and post position. Guard will be encouraged to develop post skills and post players guard skills as well as developing their own position skills.
• Skill Level
  Players with a solid foundation of basketball skills and knowledge of the game and their position as well as the advanced and motivated players who want to be challenged in terms of honing and developing advanced skills that will give them a decisive advantage.
  
• Description
